Engineered wood flooring
Engineered flooring is a multi-layer floor covering whose top layer is real wood. Because the lower layers are laid crosswise, it expands less than solid wood and can be used safely over underfloor heating.
Service life and care
Correctly installed, it lasts 25–40 years; depending on the thickness of the top layer it can be sanded and refinished once or twice.
